Alright, hey there everyone, I'm finally done with my new personal splash illustration.

While happy with how it turned out I would be lying if I said it was fun all throughout. I was constantly trying to find the right story to tell with her and matching up the design and composition to reflect that, in the end, I think the piece tells a coherent story with enough left open to the imagination to keep it engaging.

My biggest struggle with this piece was definitely composing and balancing the main character and background, the scene I chose was quite "crowded" and getting everything to read correctly without making the focal point too muddy, was a headache.

Yet I did it. As always feedback and critique are welcome.

I was already sure about what kind of character she would be, but not sure yet what story to tell with her.

I really liked the final gun cleaver design and wanted to show it off a bit better.
